PROJECT
MORLEY TRAIN STATION
As the largest public transport initiative in Perth since 2006, the 21-kilometre Morley-Ellenbrook Line delivers affordable and convenient travel options to the tens of thousands of residents in the city’s north-east corridor.
Morley Station is one of five new stations on this transformative line, offering passengers easy access to the Morley Galleria shopping precinct, surrounding businesses, and a swift 15-minute journey to Perth.
At peak times, trains arrive at Morley Station every 12 minutes in both directions, with daily boardings expected to reach 1,365 by 2031. To accommodate the anticipated high foot traffic, Bautek Pavement Products’ unbound system was chosen for its exceptional strength and durability. Bautek JOINTSET was applied on the train platforms, while KILN DRIED WHITE SAND was used across all paving precincts and car park areas.
Strategically located at the Broun Avenue flyover on Tonkin Highway, Morley Station features a ground-level platform, a 12-stand bus interchange, a 400-bay multi-storey car park, and a modern bus shelter, enhancing connectivity and convenience for the local community.
